Date Night & Networking

I will tell you a little secret. I often wear the same outfit two days in a row! Sometimes it is because I don't have time to think of a new outfit idea and sometimes it is because I don't want to do too much laundry! Many times, I only wear an outfit for a few hours and why not recycle the outfit to wear again the next day right? 

Well, this outfit I wore for a date night with my husband which was actually a going away party for a friend of mine. It was hot so I eventually took off the jacket. I do love the versatility of Rhonda and how many different ways to wear it. It is definitely a "LBD" (Little Black Dress) item!

The next day I wore it to a networking luncheon and everyone commented on how slimming Brittney is. I also love all the different colors it comes in this season too! I wish I took a more flattering photo but hopefully you get the idea.

My friend's going away party!

Rhonda Tall or Short

I saw my fellow kika stylist (that is what we call ourselves now) Beth who wore the same dress as me the other day. We both wear the same kika size but she is much taller than me so the items often look different. I think we both look pretty darn fabulous in our Rhonda dresses. You can wear it as a tunic if you feel it will be too short for you. Beth wore bike shorts under her dress just to feel covered. I just know I need it in at least one more color. Sunset or Orchid? Which one should I pick?

I also had to throw in this comparison photo in too since my photo is blurry and it was Beth who found this great photo of Twiggy from the 60's. It shows that Rhonda is so retro and classic at the same time. It has a great A-line shape and you don't need to be Twiggy to make it look great. I think so many women will look good in this dress. Also, it looks like the dress that Twiggy is wearing is very close to Flamingo or Sunset in our colors. What do you think?

Rhonda and Heidi Sitting in a Tree

Ok, I can't help it. I love these two new kika items from our Spring 2014 Collection! I wasn't sure at first about Heidi but after not being able to stop wearing it for two days straight ... I love her now! I also realized now that I wore the same shoes and tights from another day but the only thing I changed was the jacket. I am coming down with a cold and wanted something warm and fuzzy for my event tonight. Letty is an awesome jacket too but more formal and business-like which I didn't want tonight. I wasn't even sure if Heidi would look good but you know sometimes you just have to try things together to see. Yeah. I love them both. Together or separate I really don't care. LOVE!

Help Me Rhonda!

I just got another batch of clothing samples this week and in that batch came Letty and Rhonda. I am in love with Rhonda and I think she will become a staple in my spring and summer wardrobe. She is a breeze to wear and will go with so many things. Wear it with leggings or funky tights. Wear it as a swim suit cover up or a walk on the beach. Wear it to bed! I often wear many kika items as PJs actually. ;) Where would you wear her?
