Ash & Orchid Jewelry

I have a wholesale jewelry account that has a lot of sterling silver jewelry but it also has a lot of other options too. I had a website to sell the jewelry but it just wasn't working for me. Now I have added a few jewelry items to my Square account as it allows me to sell items on there without charging me money to host them. I only get charged when I sell an item which I really like. Selling jewelry is not my focus but I will do it if people are interested. Mostly I use the jewelry to inexpensively accessorize my clothing and well ... to accessorize me too!

Ash & Orchid Goes Networking

Sometimes it is challenging finding new outfits to wear everyday. Especially when my new clothing samples arrive and I haven't had a chance to try everything on yet. I also never know if the sizes they send me will actually fit or close enough anyway. I saw the colors Ash and Orchid together and knew I had to put a look together and I just hoped it would work out. I loved it and I got lots of compliments at the networking meeting that I went to as well. It was fun to see at least 3 of us in some shade of Orchid too!

The top and jacket were one size too big for me but I made it work. I really loved that I can have the look of a business suit but be completely comfortable with no restrictions at all through the arms and shoulders which are my trouble spots. Plus, I can throw it all in the wash and it comes out looking exactly the same the next time I wear it. What do you think?

Fashion Fun at Runway

I had the great pleasure of sharing camera time with my roommate and fellow kika superstar, Beth Holm. We took turns taking photos of each other in different outfits that we tried on at Runway which is our training and reveal of our Spring 2014 Collection. 

We have so much fun in the "Try On Room" which is filled with TONS of new clothing samples. I have a method to my time in this room as I make sure to try on each item to see what size fits me. I can then tell if things run too big or too small. I also ask people who are not my size what they liked and looks good on them. It is exhausting but fun! Then we have a chance to buy these items too. I took 3 home including the dress you see me in below.
