I love this dress and I love this dress on my customer Kristina who ordered it in a custom color called Atlantis. I love how different pieces look depending on what color you get them in. I also love the way she tied the dress as well. There are multiple ways to tie it (in front, on the side, in back) but this little knot that she did hides the dangling bits is really neat. Here are her instructions on how she did it:

1. Tie a loose knot on the side of the dress

2. Make a small bow at the base of the tie, like you would with a shoe

3. Loop the remaining material around the base of the loop, leaving a small amount

4. Push the end of the tie through the middle of the loops

I am really late in posting this but back in January I had been given a fun idea from another kika stylist to give a fun shopping spree away! I was headed to California for our annual Runway training and Spring Collection launch. They always set up a "kika store" there to sell off discontinued kika items at a very low cost. Most of the items in the "kika store" are several seasons old but it is fun to see things before I sold kika. 

It was so much fun to go shopping for my Facebook winner. She had never shopped kika before so it was a bit of a challenge to figure out her kika size but I saw the colors of these two items and I knew they were calling her name. I said I was only going to buy one item but the shirt I found (Elise) was see-through and needed something to go with it. The Drew tank in the fabulous print was a perfect match. 

Here is Mara at a vendor event we were both at and she wore her winning outfit! What do you think?

Here is another woman who I met networking and she was looking for a jacket to go with an existing skirt that she owns. She tried Daphne in Ink and look what a great match it made! It looks like they were meant to go together all along. Sorry for the bad photo but I took it with my old cell phone and the camera isn't so great on it.

One of my good customers shopped my sample sale last month and picked up Alice in Tangerine for 50% off! She wanted a summer dress to take with her on a trip to St. Louis and this was the perfect thing for her. I asked if I could share her photo and of course she said YES! Doesn't she look great?

Anyway, we did this new thing a few months ago where we added a POP UP COLOR to our collection and they have decided to continue this into our Fall Collection as well. So, every two months kikaPaprika will add a new POP color and a new Neutral color. This gives you all something new and fresh to add to your wardrobe. I did not get any items in the Mint color from last season but I thought it looked so great on Beth that I have to share her photo. What do you think of the color and the new pop up color idea?

I just love Anastasia and so far everyone who has put it on also loves it too. It is very flattering on many different figure types. I do encourage everyone to try it on! This is also a dress that is continuing into our Fall Collection and is available in the Oatmeal/White stripe and our solid colors too. This stripe fabric is no longer available to be custom dyed into our 13 colors this season but I had to show this photo anyway because it was so stunning. Wow, I certainly have gotten behind on my blog posts. I have a few "Others in kika" posts to share with you so here goes! 

This is a client of another kika sister who I cannot recall right now. Let me know who you are and I can give you credit. I love this look a lot and have worn it myself but I don't know if I took any photos. Shame on me. I will wear it again I am sure so you can see me in it too. This is the much loved Portia convertible dress/skirt. This item is continuing into our Fall Collection and this Navy/White stripe is stunning and also available in our 13 colors offered this season. That means you can have this item in all 13 solid colors (shown below) AND also the stripe is available in the 13 colors as well. Depending on the color the Navy stripe will dye a darker Navy or Black and the white will be the color you pick. So Peacock stripe will most likely have a Black/Peacock stripe. Ask to see my swatch book for a better idea on the colors!

Oh Oh Oh Anastasia!

This is an amazing dress. I didn't think I would love it as much as I do. The best thing is it looks good on so many people who have tried it on! I didn't know it would be a universally flattering dress. Plus, the other great thing? It comes in 24 different colors! 12 solid colors and 12 stripe colors. Wow! I will try to show you as many different looks here.

Just a note that I am wearing a kika size 1 in these photos because that is what I have in stock. I should have it shortened but I will wait until I decide to keep it or not. In the meantime, I tucked the skirt into the built in belt. Other than being too long (which is a common thing for me) the size 1 fit me pretty good! I normally wear a kika size 2 in the dresses.

I love seeing my clients wearing their kikaPaprika items when I am out and about. I am going to try to remember to take photos of them when I see them. This week, I went to a networking meeting and was surprised that two of the ladies were wearing kika! I had asked Jodie to wear her item since I haven't seen it in that color before but Nancy surprised me by wearing her item in the same color! Others in kika ... Elle!

I just realized that we don't have photos on our website with Jenna or Elle! We have had Jenna from last season and you can search for photos on my blog for that piece. It is a longer pencil skirt and Elle is the new "Simone" if you remember it from last season. Elle is a short pencil skirt or for some people it is a mini skirt. Just depends on how tall you are or how long your legs are. 

I only recently got Elle in a size that I could wear so soon I will have my own photos but in the meantime, I want to share some photos of Elle from fellow kika consultant Daphne who has a great blog. I encourage you to visit her blog for style tips and ideas too!
