Blake in Iris

I actually don't remember where I wore this outfit to. Perhaps it was another networking meeting. Who knows! I do remember playing around with the scarves and love how a new scarf and a different way to tie it totally transforms your outfit. I probably wore the same outfit two days in a row but I changed my scarf. What do you think?

Also, this shirt is last season's color (Iris) but it is very close to this season's Amethyst so I wear it all the time.

Portia in Navy/White Stripe

Well lookie here! I did take photos of my outfit where I wore Portia in the Navy/White stripe and I wore it multiple ways too. The photos are maybe not the best but my photographer is still learning the best settings for my outfit photos. At least it should give you some ideas! I love all the different looks you get with just 3 items from kikaPaprika!

Here I tucked in Pippa and folded the top half of Portia twice to get a long skirt. I could have folded it one more time to get a narrower band which might have looked better?

Here I just folded over the top half one time since I am short and it becomes a shorter version of this dress. If I decide to keep it, I will hem it so it is a better length for me. The best news is I can just cut it!

Here is the necklace and earring set that I sell too. I get loads of compliments on it everytime I wear it. It is cheap and probably won't last long but for the price, I am not complaining too much. I tried to crop the photo with Portia but then it looked like I was naked. Not a good look!

Blake Front and Back

I somehow missed these photos that I took a few weeks ago. I wore this outfit to a networking meeting and told everyone that this shirt could be worn forwards and backwards. I did a little sneaky thing and turned my shirt around at the end of the meeting. Everyone was amazed! See for yourself how different the looks are. Also, everyone thought I was wearing a tank/shift dress but it is really just two pieces from kika that are worn together to give the impression of one piece. It was such a comfortable outfit too! What do you think of it?

Blake goes to a book signing!

A good friend of mine and fellow kika lover had a book launch party last week and it was so much fun to see how far she has come. She is my social media guru and for many others too. Pick up her book on Amazon which is called "Six Word Lessons for Successful Social Media". I highly recommend it!

Anyway, I thought I would try something new this night which was wearing Blake in Imperial. It is a unique piece that you can wear forwards or backwards. I never took off my coat that evening so no one got to see the cool back on the piece. However, I got lots of compliments on the necklace, color of Blake and my jacket too. I guess the outfit was a hit! What do you think?

 I wore a camisole shaper under Blake but I was still a little body conscious wearing this outfit without a coat to cover my butt and tummy. I am sure I looked fine but it is a little tighter than I am using to wearing. I think I would go up a size in Blake just so I can have a bit more coverage for my comfort level. I just kept tugging at the elastic at the bottom of this piece. Maybe I just need more practice wearing it!
