Vera in Marble

It took me a long time to get the Vera in the Marble print. I am not sure why though.... I wasn't super crazy about it at Runway in January when we see the whole collection and the default print I got in my sample pack was Valencia which I also wasn't crazy about. I never wore it because that print had a lot of Tangerine and that isn't a color I like. So, finally I tried on the Marble print and was surprised how much I liked it! I think it looks great layered under something else and I actually got a lot of comments when I did wear it. What do you think? 

Vera also comes in 12 solid colors too and the fabric is a really neat woven Tencel. I invite you to come check it out in person as the solid color I have is not my size. Unless I can get a model to volunteer and who wears kika size 4 or 5 (women's size 10-16) .... you won't see it in my blog.

I had a hard time with deciding what necklace to wear with this outfit. I wasn't sure a long necklace over a pattern would work but I think it was okay? I was going for something with gold and I don't have many pieces to choose from.

Carly and Alice

When I first tried on Alice, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. I was so surprised how much I like it! I posted a few days ago my date night outfit and I had to come up with another way to wear this dress. I had the idea to pair this with Carly which I also wore recently and my jewelry that I am also selling with the clothing. I just launched my jewelry website called Monica's Jewelry Box that showcases just a small selection of what I have access to. There is a necklace that is one of my favorites and it just goes perfectly with this outfit. 

Beware! When you walk into a room wearing this outfit ... the oxygen might suddenly be sucked away. It is breathtaking and I got so many compliments on it that I will have to wear it again soon. Also, I folded up the sleeves of the jacket. I think it looks better. What do you think?

I Heart Carly

Friday was the first day I was able to be out and enjoy the sunshine. It feels like summer is just around the corner! I decided to wear White and Ocean today and I have been waiting to put this outfit together since I first got Carly. I need to get the Drew tank in White and our Twill Capris in White too but in the photos below I just used what I already had in my closet. 

This is a super limited edition repurposed tweed jacket that just is a stunning piece. It is a look that celebrities covet and there isn't much out there that can compete in it's price range. I did a few celebrity compares a few weeks back and everything I found was $400-$1500 for about the same look! We are already sold out in the larger sizes (kika size 5 & 6 which is women's 14-18) so if you like this jacket ... order it ASAP!

Also, I noticed after I took the photos that I didn't fold up the sleeves of the jacket. I think it looks better that way on me because I am petite. I will post another look with them folded up.

These shoes are a new find of mine... Fibi & Clo! It is like jewelry for your feet! I really wanted the Cascade style in the wedge but they don't make it anymore. These are the Naples Wedge and pretty adorable don't you think?
