One of my good customers shopped my sample sale last month and picked up Alice in Tangerine for 50% off! She wanted a summer dress to take with her on a trip to St. Louis and this was the perfect thing for her. I asked if I could share her photo and of course she said YES! Doesn't she look great?

I love seeing my clients wearing their kikaPaprika items when I am out and about. I am going to try to remember to take photos of them when I see them. I will do something special for them like if they have their own business, I can promote it in my blog and Facebook too. If they don't then maybe I can do something else. This last week, one of my good customers sent me a photo of herself wearing Alice in Ocean which I haven't seen before in that color. I love it so much I just may copy her but I do love the Cocoa one I already have so who knows. I wish I were the same size as her because then I could just borrow it! Now, Misty (or Dr. Misty as most people know her by) is also my chiropractor and she runs her own clinic with her husband Dr. Andrew. I highly recommend that you go see them. Dr. Misty is the sweetest person you will ever meet and so gentle with her adjustments that even my kids like seeing her too. I also love everyone in their office is very warm and friendly too. Here is my friend Leena wearing a scarf from last season. I like the color combo and the scarf tied it all together! She wanted something easy to wear for her daughter's 6th birthday party at our martial arts dojang. I love the bright pink shirt and dark brown capris together with the scarf. What do you think?

Dressed to Inspire

I had a big presentation in one of my networking groups where I had to inspire and motivate the group. It wasn't supposed to be about my business but since we just had Earth Day the week before, my head was filled with all sorts of information about being green and eco-friendly with clothing. So, I took those facts and tried to see if I could inspire everyone that they can make a difference with clothing. I got them thinking differently about where and how their clothes are made. Even simple things like shopping local and made in the USA does huge things to help the economy and the environment. Of course, I also shared how horrible the cotton industry is for our environment, other textile alternatives and how you can be chemical free by buying clothing made in the USA. I think it went over pretty well! 

I wanted a really great outfit for this presentation and tried something different which I really liked. I wore a belt! I had bought this belt when I first started with kikaPaprika because someone suggested having different belts might be handy for my customers when they try on clothes. After 9 months, I finally wore it and really liked it! It was also a bit chilly that day so I threw on some leggings. What do you think of it?

Carly and Alice

When I first tried on Alice, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. I was so surprised how much I like it! I posted a few days ago my date night outfit and I had to come up with another way to wear this dress. I had the idea to pair this with Carly which I also wore recently and my jewelry that I am also selling with the clothing. I just launched my jewelry website called Monica's Jewelry Box that showcases just a small selection of what I have access to. There is a necklace that is one of my favorites and it just goes perfectly with this outfit. 

Beware! When you walk into a room wearing this outfit ... the oxygen might suddenly be sucked away. It is breathtaking and I got so many compliments on it that I will have to wear it again soon. Also, I folded up the sleeves of the jacket. I think it looks better. What do you think?

Date Night Outfit

I promised a totally different look for my next blog post and here it is! My husband and I went out for a nice steak dinner last night ... just because. Well, really it was because the restaurant was doing a special and our next dinner there will be free! Ha! Still, it was a reason for me to dress up a little bit and try out some new kikaPaprika items. 

Even though the weather has been sunny and finally feels like spring has arrived in the Pacific Northwest ... my legs are all pasty and white! I opted to wear this dress with my fall boots and tights but I could have worn flip flops or nude heels or wedges with this dress and it would have looked fabulous! I think I need to go shopping for some shoes now...
