Brittney vs Kelly

I had mentioned in a previous blog post that Brittney was a similar cut to a previous season item ... Kelly. Well I looked through my old photos (man some of them were bad with that old camera!) and decided to do a side by side comparison. With the exception of the material and the inset Ponte knit in black on the Brittney, they are very similar! What do you think?

Steel and Peony

I found another set of photos which needed some serious editing so they might not be the best quality. I don't remember where I was headed in this outfit but I did love the combo and the Twill Capris are one of my favorite items too. I have worn Pippa in other blog posts but most I feel are too big on me. This is a kika size 0 (women's 0/2) which is MUCH smaller than I usually wear but I like the fit a lot better too. The stripe version fit more normal but with the solid fabric it just came out a lot more generous in the sizing. What do you think of it?

Others in kika - 9/13

(These photos were originally taken on Sept 13, 2012)
Here is my friend Sheila who is looking great in Kelly in Eggplant. This is a kika size 5 on her and she normally wears a kika size 6. It still looks great!

Again, Sheila shows off Stella in Black which is a kika size 5.
If she wore her size I bet it would look even more fantastic on her!

Gracie in Winter White, Kelly in Steel

These photos were posted on Sept 9, 2012 and were meant to show off the difference between "Gracie" and "Kelly" since they seem very similar at first glance.
Gracie in Winter White, Drew in Black
Gracie's flutter lapels fall a bit higher (hit around the bust line) than Kelly and the material is definitely more casual with it's heathered texture.
Kelly in Steel, Drew in Black
Kelly's flutter lapels fall a bit lower (hits around the bellybutton) and the material is lightweight and silky. Definitely more of a dressy piece.
Gracie in Winter White
Gracie is longer and covers the bottom more plus it has some details in the back that gathers it around the waistline.
Kelly in Steel
Kelly has seaming down the back that makes your back and waist look narrower. It also has a bit of ruching on the back of the neck to add to the elegance of this piece.
Gracie in Poppy
I thought this was going to be my size (kika size 3) but I actually think I should wear a size 2 in this piece. The sleeves are a bit long so my feeling is this piece runs large. Here they are pushed up...

Kelly in Steel, Rita in Navy Stripe

(These photos were originally posted on Aug 10, 2012)
Rita was another summer staple of mine. So flattering and comfortable to wear! I was playing around with different ways to style Kelly which turned out to be one of my most popular items I would sell this season! I think some of these photos were with my old camera so the quality is not the greatest...
